What I do

I leverage new sources of data, such as text and satellite imagery, to answer questions in the economics of climate change and sustainability.

What I care about

Formative to my understanding of innovation is a conceptualization of the economy as an evolutionary, complex adaptive system. In this context, I am most excited about questions that examine the incentives and financing structures involved in making innovation happen for public purpose.

How I connect to the D^3 Mission

As someone with a background in sustainability innovation prior to being trained in economics, I hope to learn how firms can leverage market power and innovative financing structures to innovate in response to climate change.
