What I do

A four-time CEO, I'm best known as the sole founder and first CEO of Black Duck Software, which was acquired by Synopsys in 2017. With extensive expertise in AI, cybersecurity, digital fraud detection, and open source software, I currently serves on the Board of Directors for ReversingLabs, FiVerity, and SmartOne, acts as a Board Advisor for Resec and Dowsers and advises several emerging companies (Accuknox, Nirmata, Prescient Devices, Stynt, among others).

What I care about

With a background in board and executive management, I have an abiding interest in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital fraud detection, and blockchain software in startups and emerging companies. My interests extends to ensuring operational excellence across leadership, finance and go-to-market functions.

How I connect to the D^3 Mission

My experience as an operator in early and later stage technology companies, along with my extensive background in functional and operational management in cutting-edge technologies, aligns perfectly with D^3's mission to reinvent how organizations compete and thrive in the digital world. This experience also informs my role as a business school lecturer.
