What I do

I study the economics of competition and the role of pricing algorithms, contracts, and vertical relationships. I also study how consumer behavior evolves over time, in terms of the implications for competition and also in terms of where consumer beliefs and preferences come from.

What I care about

I'm very much interesting in hearing from companies about their pricing strategies and about hearing the response to these strategies from buyers!

How I connect to the D^3 Mission

Pricing technology is often a core strategic decision made by an organization. I am happy to work with leaders to work towards a mutual understanding of the effects of different pricing technologies, especially given the increasing availability of data and the computational power to tackle difficult problems.
