Abstract

How valuable are pixel data to advertisers? Pixels are used by millions of advertisers around the world today, they are believed to generate some of the most important data for digital advertising today, and yet their future faces substantial uncertainty. In this talk, Nils will discuss a large-scale experiment he ran at Meta designed to answer this question, analyze effects across different kinds of advertisers, and discuss potential remedies for advertisers today.
