Join us for a fireside chat with Mike Maples Jr. (HBS ’94), legendary Silicon Valley VC. Mike will share stories and insights from his long career in startups and venture capital. He will also talk about his book, Pattern Breakers, written with co-author Peter Ziebelman. The principles in the book emerged from Mike’s experiences with massively successful startups like Twitter, Twitch, Lyft, and Okta, but also from his experience with startup failure. He began to notice that oftentimes, the most well-conceived and executed startups would fail, while those that achieved breakout success seemed radical and chaotic in the early days.
