The limited audience that transit royale is likely to have seems to represent a barrier to a significant increase in revenues. I was wondering if additional revenue streams could be added by introducing new features in the app. As you mentioned, Transit is particularly valuable for tourists. Transit might add additional features for trip planning (suggestions, recommendations) and have an additional revenue stream by partnering with local attractions (museums, restaurants)

From Spotify’s perspective, it can significantly help tailor the content suggested to users. Nevertheless, I believe it could give Spotify too much power to influence the emotional state of the user. Spotify could have an incentive to manipulate the user’s emotions to encourage them to continue listening to content on the platform. This could imply playing on a person’s depressive state to keep them listening to content that can further deteriorate that emotional state.

I also believe that the lack of a network effect is particularly harmful to those newcomers without a large following. If you don’t have a following, Substack won’t help you grow one. On the other hand, Medium’s contents have the potential to get distributed widely among the community because users can easily read recommendations. Do you think Substack can adopt a similar model?

With the current PoW, I believe the potential of the network effect is not fully exploited because of congestion. Once the number of users and transactions gets large, it takes longer on average for transactions to get validated and the network effect between users can turn negative

Nevertheless, many services mainly focus on patient experience in order to capture the high demand generated following the pandemic. I believe that the companies that will succeed in this market will be those that will actively engage clinicians, by providing them a set of integrated services for their practice. An interesting evolution of this concept is “Hospital at home”, a model that enables providers to shift acute care from hospital to patients’ home through a combination of telehealth, remote monitoring technologies, and diagnostics services.
