Very cool post! This is the first time I’m hearing of this company. I can certainly see why a tool like this would be helpful. I once did sales and there were certainly moments where I could have used some coaching or feedback but no one was around. That said, I do wonder about the privacy and also how bias will be handled. Each industry, culture, etc varies so drastically and trying to give “feedback” or “ratings” can certainly be a challenge.
Nice post, Alex! Thanks for sharing. It’s fascinating to think about how far Etsy has come over the years! I still recall them being this odd-ball site and you weren’t sure if you ordered something if it would arrive. (At least that was my initial impression!) And here we are, many years later, and they’re a $15B market relying on sophisticated algorithms and AI to connect shoppers, artists and small business around the globe. Truly incredible!
Very cool post! Thanks for sharing. I had no idea Dominos was using AI and data in this manner but it makes sense. I can certainly recall the countless times we’ve had to return a pizza or log a complaint because something was off. Kudos to them for partnering with the right AI group to make this happen!
Great post! This is the first time I’m hearing about this company. While I dont wear glasses myself, I can see how this company is a disruptor to the $13B US market – wow. Unlike most of the other companies that we encounter these days, I like that they’re also thinking about the consumer’s privacy and putting them first.
Interesting post, Sutton! I heard about this company but didnt know exactly what they did or offered. Your post was very helpful. I think the company is offering a very timely product since we are in the age where everyone wants to understand their personal and community’s data points/impact. Plus, with a big focus on sustainability, I think what they’re doing makes a lot of “sense” 😉
Great post and very informative, Serrino! I like how this platform brings in the social aspect – physical and virtual – and has created a strong global following. Plus, the momentum (and monetary benefits) they’ve generated via tournaments is impressive. This vertical has certainly come a long way and I am eager to see how they continue to develop.
Loved this post! Very interesting to see how they have evolved/changed from how many of us once thought of them. I totally agree that “trust” is the focus and now more than ever there’s a great need for this platform and its insights on both sides. Nicely done.
Great post, Max! Very well written and informative. I think this space is still young but greatly valuable and the use cases are tremendous.
Great read! I honestly don’t use TikTok and thought this was a great rundown on the app and insight into how they’re winning during the pandemic. Also, important to know that India has banned them.
Interesting post – I wasn’t aware of this company and their story. It’s amazing that they went up against the likes of Alibaba, and have been able to remain a challenger.
Nice post! I agree that the pandemic catapulted several platforms/areas and Strava was one of them. They did a great job of focusing on community (for total value) and adjusted their roadmap well.
Very interesting company! Thanks for sharing. I agree that “the pressure to find solutions for improving design while cutting costs will drive more users to adopt the software as a necessary component to compete in the real estate development market.” This is something that is top of mind for many – what is the future or real estate, what are the tools that are disrupting the market, and how can we better plan “smart” cities. I think this company is going to do extremely well as we continue to think differently about real estate and the possibilities as our finger tips – especially using AI.
Very well written post! I agree that Zoom is one of the winners of the pandemic and I think they will only grow stronger from here. I also agree that “artificial intelligence is at the core of its product” and they will continue to focus on AI and AR/VR going forward. The CEO has a deep understanding of the product and the pain points, and the fact that he was with Cisco WebEx and worked on that platform for years, gives him a competitive advantage. Excited to see what they will do next!
Very interesting post! Thanks for sharing this new platform with us. I love how the founders used the Netflix model and applied it to art. And, I can see how this is going to be something that we shift more toward in the future….all based on algorithms and data online. Nice job!
