This is a really interesting company. Their prices reflect the care and attention that they pay to the 4 R’s. What is really surprising though is that they actively encourage customers not to purchase new items but to repair their current ones. This is the first operating model that I have seen that is not aggressively biased towards creating higher revenues.

Very interesting! Also, to add to their operating model, they strategically placed their hub in Atlanta, which is the world’s busiest airport by passenger numbers with the most amount of routes in the US. They have been able to out-price other airlines coming into/out of Atlanta, allowing them to have the upper hand on ticket pricing and scheduling!

Having heard of In-N-Out but never having been there, I can now understand why it’s so popular in such a saturated fast-food market. Really interesting to look at their employment statistics, and I’d be curious to see how their HR and Revenues financials compare to McDonalds or other burger eateries.
