Hello, thank you for your interest and questions. I recommend you to see this project from a long term perspective and it is still it is in the initial stage. I tried to find the answer for your second question, but there was nothing in public especially for the family’s health information, but I will post it if I find it later on. Thank you so much!

Hello, thank you for your interest and question. Asides from researching public data, we also did a in-person research and survey with doctors in local community hospitals and we could find they are pretty worried about declining numbers of patients’ visit to the local hospitals due to the mobile health platform, even though they can be reimbursed by insures, the declining numbers actually hurts their top line and revenue. Thank you for your interest!!

Hi Haibo, thank you for the question. As I mentioned earlier, Apple pursues this project to increase human’s health and they want to put efforts to be a part of that project. However, Apple clearly capture values in this project. They can build strategic alliance with diverse medical partners such as Mayo clinic and learn the advanced way to analyze huge health data, which they will need in the future. Thank you for your interest and let’s talk more!

Dear Brittany, thank you so much for your comment and question. I am very happy and motivated about the fact that lots of people showed huge interest in my blog post. To answer your question, Apple doesn’t sell people’s health data. They argue that Apple is trying to do this project to increase human’s health and they want to put efforts to be a part of that project. To prove that, they also code that info to transform as a token. Hope this helps, and happy to talk about this more.

Dear Ting, thank you so much for your interest and sharing your thoughts. I understand your concern about Apples’s health kit, but the beauty of this platform is combining and integrating trivial small health data (like you mentioned) and transform it to meaningful health data and recommendation for the fitness. I think what happens here is 1+1+1+1+1+1 is not always 5 but 20 and 30, when you combine piece of data and make synergie. Thank you again and happy to talk about this more.

Dear Brittney,
It was super informative and interesting blog to read. As you said, cyber securities became one of the most important assets especially when it comes to the financial transaction or health-related information. The bigger problem is that it is really hard to protect because technology always outpace the existing safeguarding methods. It was also interesting to know diverse companies including Uber is investing in cyber securities domain. Again, It was helpful and exciting to read your blog. Thank you.

Dear Will,
It was super interesting to read your blog. I agree to your point that it is very important to consider the size and extent of the whole ecosystem. These days digital healthcare creates a greater environment which entails various key players from each sectors, including wearable companies, medical device manufacturers, and more importantly mobile companies like Apple and Google, as you mentioned. I also think that Fitbit should think about the way to blend in that huge ecosystem. Again, It was helpful and exciting to read. Thank you.

Since we are studying at HBS these days, it was very interesting to read this blog. Before joining HBS, I also experienced HBX and felt this can be another effective way for distributing high-quality education and generating new revenue for the institution. Looks very powerful. Dear Walter,
It was super interesting to read your blog. Yes, as you said Amazon started from addressing consumer’s inconvenience in brick and mortar book store, and expanded to a wide range of industries. Now it became a Kingdom I would say. I was always curious what is Amazon’s secret sauce, and it was great to learn it through your blog : Leveraging economy of scale for its infrastructure and relentlessly focusing on consumer’s diverse needs to create perfect satisfaction. Dear Andres,
It was very interesting to read your comment. Cisco’s new Internet of Things-friendly system is apparently inter-related software that will help corporations and cities set up the necessary infrastructure such as cameras and routers. This initiative started from John chambers for a long time and still going on. This IoT aims to manage the data flowing between inter-connected equipment. Interesting blog! Thank you.

Hi Wiss, I really enjoyed your blog because it was able to clearly show the effect of the climate change which can shut several businesses down. Maybe ski resort businesses can be seriously hurt by the climate change and it is not a thing that they can address solely without a big collaboration with each other. It was an easy example but very clear! Thank you.

Well done David! I think it was really interesting to read your post about Nestle. Especially it is a huge food company, I liked your explanation about the link between cocoa, coffee and special condition appropriate for the agriculture. It was rich information especially because you could leverage your previous knowledge about agriculture business! Thank you so much.

I learned a lot thank you!

Jordan, it was interesting to read your post about GM. I can assume GM must have huge complicate relation with the climate change. First, it is a huge manufacturing company, but more importantly, the regulation and environmental bar is changing very fast. Like your post mentioned, President Obama and other political leaders are getting more and more interested in the environment regulation. I think this will have a great amount of effect to GM even further. Nice to read your blog! Thank you.

Eric, I thought I was interesting because Marriott has actual practical incentive for maintaining health of climate and environment, since it isa huge hotel chain which values the sights and environment for its business. It is also noteworthy that you pointed out the economical scale of this mega hotel chain. I learned a lot, Thank you!

I liked you approach that Banks can address the climate problem, especially because I think banks can have great power of influence due to its nature of the business. First, It can leverage its professional knowledge for building funds for creating social impact, just as you mentioned about the biggest green bond underwriting. Second, it naturally has huge scale and tight relationship with other huge corporations. In that sense, I thought your approach was very interesting! Good job. Eugeniu!
