Great post! I think sourcing creativity in the food industry has been stagnant. Other than a reliance on local I wonder if there are other constraints that can ways to get creative. Perhaps developing alternative recipes for cities in climates that favor a certain type of food style. Or sourcing food that would be rejected from more traditional dealers
This is a great idea and I’m excited to see how capitated systems change healthcare costs. I wonder if this kind of system would incentivize hospitals to target patient sub-populations that have historically had better outcomes. For example, target diabetics that have the personal financial resources to manage their weight more easily and therefore enjoy more of the lump sum profit. Is there a way to mitigate this risk?
The operational challenges here are much larger than I had originally anticipated. I wonder if some level of predictive analysis can make this process easier?
