Late submissions will not be accepted. When you <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSe3lWGZdk4QIa_2xWY-XWzCjE8_QoNv9xy4DA1QUyE3IlMQaQ\/viewform?usp=sf_link\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">submit your pitch using our internal submission form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, you will need to upload two files:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Your<\/span><b> pitch deck <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in PDF form (please consult <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Fpresentation%2Fd%2F1-4UxXvwvIEqCeAz_rP1kNtaF7rlkiAh0eE0ZYXm43m8%2Fedit&amp;data=04%7C01%7Csaxelrod%40hbs.edu%7C66c6d91334c944eba2bb08da1cbebec9%7C09fd564ebf4243218f2db8e482f8635c%7C0%7C0%7C637853902849411495%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&amp;sdata=oY6LWVzJNBxmCI5WRYeyGK74zMhh%2FYW%2FjX9By2HRzIU%3D&amp;reserved=0\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">this template<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in creating your deck, then save as PDF and upload to the submission form).<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A <\/span><b>video<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> of you pitching your idea as you would in a live competition (either as file upload or link to recording).<\/span><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Rules<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Your video must be <\/span><b>no longer than 3 minutes in length<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Please be advised that judges will stop the video at the 3 minute mark and will not continue viewing.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We encourage you to play a demo if you have one during your pitch (please be sure to plan for this and manage your time appropriately).<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Your team must select one person to submit the video and materials on your team&#8217;s behalf.<\/span><b> One submission only per team<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span> <\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Should your team be selected to pitch live at the finals, please note that <\/span><b>no more than 3 people per team<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> will be allowed onstage to pitch.<\/span> <\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You will be asked to<\/span><b> submit all names of team members in the submission form<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">; should your pitch be selected for the final round in June, all team members\u2019 names will be displayed in the printed program for the competition finals.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Three to four pitches will be selected for the finals, which will be held <\/span><b>in person, on the HBS campus<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, during the HBAP Return to Campus Reunion, on Saturday June 25th. <\/span><b>Please do not submit if you know you will be unavailable to pitch in person.<\/b> <\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you are submitting a pitch but are not among the cohorts invited to attend the Return to Campus Reunion, please let us know; should you be selected for the finals, we will secure you an invite to campus (travel at your own expense).<\/span> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selection Criteria for Finalists<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Vision<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Is the idea compelling and exciting? Is it Impactful? Does the company have potential for over $100M?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Business Viability<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Is this business idea realistic? Is the technology viable? Is the business plan clear?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Data and Analytics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Is this an AI-first company? Is the company\u2019s use of AI and data critical to its business\u2013either to solve a central problem or as a key differentiator from other solutions?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Team<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Is this the right team composition (experience, vision, background, etc.)?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Community Values<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Is the team committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging?
