It will serve as a bridge between the challenges in the real-world and the solutions from the academic ecosystems by attracting players to innovate in a conducive platform for shared values.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The problem<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High-potential individual consultants unable to compete with big players in the consulting ecosystems due to lack of resources, connections, and platform. The individual consultants could be classified into the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>People Seeking work-life balance.<\/li>\n<li>Those transitioning from the corporate world.<\/li>\n<li>Individuals with great ideas to transform into new businesses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Target market and opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The target market will be focused on industry and societal challenges. Hence will be targeting the private and public organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Opportunities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>According to IBISworld, in 2019, the global management consulting industry had $260 Billion revenue, a profit of $30 Billion with a projected annual growth rate of 1.5%. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.\u201d &#8211; Andrew Carnegie<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNone of us is as smart as all of us.\u201d \u2013 Ken Blanchard<\/p>\n<p>The advantages of the model include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaboration instead of competition.<\/li>\n<li>Replicability.<\/li>\n<li>Leverage network effects to drive ROI.<\/li>\n<li>Allows work flexibility.<\/li>\n<li>The consulting business pie is big and could be made bigger by having a diverse team.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive products\/services instead of being reactive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Examples of Proactive Consulting Products\/Services Ideas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While the model allows the response to consulting products\/services demands (pull), it is also going to focus on the proactive creation of products\/services (push). Some of the initial proactive ideas are at different maturity stages:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Idea #1<\/strong> &#8211; Farming machinery\/farmhands as an affordable service.<\/p>\n<p>Supply &#8211; OEMs, Leasing Companies, and Farmers with spare capacities.<\/p>\n<p>Demand &#8211; Farmers in need of affordable services.<\/p>\n<p>Channel &#8211; Digital platform<\/p>\n<p>Market: U.S.A and later move to emerging economies<\/p>\n<p>Value capture &#8211; % of service charged<\/p>\n<p>Ownership &#8211; Partnership to include major OEMs and a digital platform provider.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Idea #2<\/strong> &#8211; Waste recycling value chain, capturing global demand and supply data then turn them to usable information.<\/p>\n<p>Value proposition &#8211; Encourage the sustainable use of resources. Create a database for recyclable materials, available recycling technologies, and users. Act as a coordination platform for all stakeholders from waste generation, waste storage, to waste reuse.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Idea #3<\/strong> &#8211; Public domain information facts checking platform.<\/p>\n<p>Value proposition &#8211; Reduce misinformation and disinformation. Improve information transparency. Help businesses and individuals to manage their reputation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The partnership is open to people interested in joining. The potential target groups will be current\/past HBAPers and Innovation360 Licensed Practitioners <a href=\"https:\/\/licensed.innovation360.com\/community\/featured-lps\/\">https:\/\/licensed.innovation360.com\/community\/featured-lps\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The global management consulting business is dominated by the three big players, Accenture, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte.
