Lakhani<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One longstanding quandary in economics has been the productivity paradox. In spite of all the rapid advances in information technology dating back to the 1970s, there hasn\u2019t been the corresponding productivity growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, from the offset of this Generative AI technological trigger, our Institute researchers sought to find out if Generative AI truly impacts worker productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Researchers from our <a href=\"https:\/\/d3.harvard.edu\/labs\/laboratory-for-innovation-science-at-harvard\/\">Laboratory for Innovation Science (LISH)<\/a> teamed up with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to understand the impact of Generative AI on the work of 758 management consultants.
